Project Hail Mary (2026)

At times, Project Hail Mary showed a wondrous brilliance through its operatic space adventure, leaving you in a state of bug-eyed awe. The shots of the ship plastered against the infinite vastness of space, the human identity of the ship coinciding with the alien structure of the Eridians, the flashes of green and red light that envelop the screen, all contributes to the epic quality of its vision. At the movie’s core, it is of a sweet, humanistic perspective; it hits you with the disconcerting pangs of human loneliness in one moment, the next it brilliantly captures the capacity for human connection and curiosity. The memories of who had once been, the photos and belongings of those who did not make it through the journey, encapsulate the sacrifices that are of minute importance compared to the stakes. It is about a human story that seeps through at every level, through the personal, and through all. At other times, however, its saccharine nature and flat humor threatened to downplay its magnificence. However, the ending will leave you in a state of happiness, as Grace embraces his connection with Rocky and finds a purpose for the future. A very good blockbuster that endears itself to everybody.
