I find that The Drama stands tall amongst this year’s releases because of the shocking subject matter combined with the story-telling dripping with uncomfortable anxiety. The drama builds this inescapable discomfort which stems from Emma’s admission to planning a school shooting. From that point forward, it is an internal dilemma to both Charlie and from us whether she deserves a time of redemption.
